Fish

This autumn I am enjoying sketching and painting fish. We went fishing in September and the lovely patterns on salmon were an inspiration. Back home there is a quite a good variety of fish on the fish mongers stall in the supermarket. I finished a couple of paintings of fishy faces and have started a larger still life with crabs, prawns as well as fish. Not sure how it will turn out but I am enjoying the process and the challenge.

Wylye Valley Art Trail 2021

Note for your diary, this year’s trail coming soon.The Wylye Valley Art Trail starts on Saturday 1st May and runs until Sunday 9th May. Our venue is number 5 in the trail and I have an eclectic mix of new paintings from my lockdown year. Ginny will have her beautiful original jewellery and will offers her re-design advice and we both take commissions.Please do come and visit us, there will be cards and baskets to buy, a spring garden to explore and refreshments including homemade soups, hot drinks and cakes.
